Support Coordination Questions

When should I get a support coordinator?

Many participants benefit from a coordinator from day one, especially if they're new to NDIS. Others bring one in after 12 months. It depends on your confidence and complexity. We can advise.

What does a support coordinator actually do?

We help you understand your plan, maximize your budget by connecting you with providers aligned to your goals, manage plan reviews, and solve problems when services don't work out.

Is support coordination expensive?

NDIS covers support coordination as a funded support category. The cost comes from your plan allocation, not your pocket. We'll show you exactly how your budget is allocated.

Can you help me switch providers if I'm unhappy?

Yes. That's a big part of our role. If a service isn't delivering, we help you find alternatives and facilitate the transition smoothly, with no judgment.

How often will we meet?

Typically monthly or quarterly depending on your needs. We also stay available between meetings for urgent issues. You set the pace.
